HOW WE WORK

FROM A BUYERS PERSPECTIVE

Enquiry

It all starts with an enquiry.  We will do our best to get back to you quickly with the required information, but remember that as brokers we don't simply have the equipment in our yard!

Negotiation and Closing Sale

By this stage, there will be a common understanding of how the deal will look.  We will be in regular contact to negotiate all aspects of the sale!

03.

Documentation

This stage is not applicable for smaller equipment, but for large vessels, we will draft and mediate required documents, such as a Memorandum of Agreement.

04.

Payment and Invoicing

We will then connect you with the seller to arrange payment, and finalise transport details.  At this point, we would also invoice for the pre arranged brokerage commission fee.

FROM A SELLERS PERSPECTIVE

01.

Information Sharing

The more information you can get us at the start, the higher chance of a sale will be!  For example, we dislike to advertise with less than 5 high quality images.  We always ask for your price at this stage.

02.

Advertising and Enquiry Handling

We add our commission on your asking price and advertise the equipment through 5 channels.  We then qualify enquiries by using the information we have, thus saving you time. 

03.

Negotiation and Closing Sale

By this stage, we know the enquiry is serious.  Therefore we will be in regular contact with you to organise inspections, negotiate details and close the deal!

04.

Post-Close Services and Invoicing

For larger vessels, we will draft and agree all required documents.  Finally, we will invoice the buyer separately for our commission, which is how we are FOC for sellers.

We broker the sale of used marine equipment.  Primarily, our role is to connect buyers with sellers and streamline the sale of vessels.

How are we setting the industry standard?​

FAQ's

Q: Are listed prices plus VAT?

A: Yes, all prices displayed are plus VAT.

Q: What is your commission?

A: Our commission is worked out on a sliding scale tied to the value of the equipment.  On small value sales we will only charge a 'finders fee' as the sale is relatively simple.  However, for higher value vessels our fees are higher due to the increased workload.

Q: Do you hold stock?

A: No, we do not hold any stock ourselves.

Q: Do you offer transport?

A: We have numerous contacts within the transport industry to help you get a quote, but we do not offer a in-house transport service.

Q: Where do you operate?

A: Our core market is Europe but we work globally.
